Hello all you snow-loving legends!
We are RVC Snow and we are very excited to offer snow based frivolity to all UoL students. Our main focus is our annual ski trip but we also have multiple socials at Belushi's Bar in Camden and The Haxby at RVC.
This year our trip is to the glacial paradise that is Les Deux Alpes in France, and we'll be there from the 16th to the 24th of December 2022 for the extremely reasonable base price of £479. This includes a 6 day lift pass for the resort as well as 7 nights accommodation, a free trip t-shirt, and many in-resort discounts. This is absolutely not to be missed and whilst we are now RVC in name, this is in name alone and ALL UoL students are welcome no matter the member institution.
All those wishing to go on the trip will also be required to pay subs for the society which can be purchased from the RVCSU webpage. For non-RVC UoL students, you will also need to purchase an associate memebership of the RVCSU which can again be purchased from the RVCSU website.
Booking for the trip will be released in 2 stages this year, with an initial release reserved for those who were booked onto last year's trip that very sadly had to be cancelled due to French coronavirus travel restrictions. This initial relase will be on Wednesday the 5th of October 2022 at 4pm via an early access code that will be sent to all of those that booked on last year. The main relase will then be on the 11th of October at 6pm for everybody else, but be sure to put this in your calendar and be poised to book as soon as booking opens as the trip sold out in record time last year and may do the same again this time around.
Finally, we have our first social of the year on Tuesday the 4th of October at Belushi's Bar in Camden where we will be having a few drinks and playing some beer pong to allow you to get into the wintery mood and to meet your amazinng committee and ask any questions you might have.
