Skydiving

Always wanted to jump out of a plane?
BEST NEW SOCIETY OF THE YEAR 2016

Welcome to the London University Skydiving Club!

We organise skydiving trips and training for all levels of experience.
If you're new to the sport, we offer both RAPS (Static Line) and AFF training courses. Come along to our socials or email us for details about these courses!

For experienced jumpers, we will be attending a variety of events at dropzones in the UK and abroad. As well as weekend trips in the UK, we will be running a weeks trip to Europe for all experience levels during Easter and summer holidays :)

We have weekly socials often joining up with other skydivers and Universities in London.

We are hoping to organise termly wind tunnel trips to help you progress quicker in the sky!

As the club continues to grow, we hope to subsidise jump tickets and buy some skydiving equipment to make it cheaper for our members.

Membership is a bargain at £10 for the year, sign up here.

RAPS/Static Line Beginners course info

The goal of the course is for you to get your A license and become an independant licensed skydiver! The initial course is £195 for your ground school and your first jump, this is where you learn everything you will ever need to know about skydiving! Your second jump is £20, and each following jump is £40 until you are licensed. This includes all kit hire etc so no need to worry about that. The minimum jump number to gain your license is 18 and the average is around 20. Your first jump will be a solo static line jump from 3,500ft where your parachute is automatically opened for you. From there, as you jump, you work your way up through the system to get to full height and freefall. As a club we usually drive to the dropzone on Friday night, you will have your ground school on Saturday and weather permitting you will do your first jump on Sunday! Even better news is that it is 100% free to stay at the dropzone for the weekend so the only other cost you need to think about is food and the potential for a drink or two!

Feel free to contact us on facebook if you have any questions!

Blue skies,
