Overview

Student Central are going to Kilimanjaro!

This year (Summer 2017), a group of adventurous students will take on the challenge and climb the African giant that is Kilimanjaro, all in the name of charity!

Here's a little about the awesome adventure you could be heading on:

"Mount Kilimanjaro is the highest free standing mountain in the world. Rising from the East African plains, the tallest point of the mountain, Uhuru Peak, stands at a frosty 5,895 metres.

From here you can gaze down on the clouds, and up at acres of blue sky. This trek will take you from the hustle and bustle of Moshi, through the rainforests which cover the lower mountain slopes, up to the high alpine desert.

The trek will culminate with a midnight summit climb to reach Stella Point before dawn, where you will take in the unparalleled sight of sunrise over the African plains from the summit." - Rare Adventures (our trip providers.)

The charity we're supporting is AiDS Orphan who provide and care for the forgotten children of the HIV/AIDS crisis. Check out their great work here:
