Coffee House Sessions is a music platform, launched in September 2013 with Huw Stephens from Radio 1, allowing you to see the very best breaking acts performing live for free in intimate venues. Here at Student Central (formerly ULU) you will be able to see the next big thing, all from the comfort of The Library Bar.

Each week a new act will perform fantastic music – all you have to do is turn up!

This week is 'The Waletones'

Feel-god, pop, sixties revival band The Waletones are set to become the first new artists out on the tour this term!

The line-up is inspired by Sixties icons The Beach Boys, Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons, and most obviously The Beatles. The Waletones have captured an essence of The Cavern’s Mersey Beat era, thrown in a little Brit-Pop for childhood nostalgia and topped it with a dusting of noughties indie rock. Prepare to be blown away by The Waletones.
