Coffee House Sessions is a music platform, launched in September 2013 with Huw Stephens from Radio 1, allowing you to see the very best breaking acts performing live for free in intimate venues. Here at Student Central (formerly ULU) you will be able to see the next big thing, all from the comfort of The Library Bar.

Each week a new act will perform fantastic music – all you have to do is turn up!

Wednesday 3rd December - LewRay - 6pm - 7pm

LewRey are a two piece band hailing from Huddersfield, West Yorkshire. They have an alternative feel about their music but also pull personally inspiration from artists such as The Script, Coldplay & The 1975. The pair have been together as a duo for only 8 months and in less than a year will have achieved such things as a UK Tour, their debut EP being released on iTunes and performing with such names as DJ Fresh, Huw Stephens & Mike Dignam. The two friends who both met at school cover a range of 5 instruments and are dedicated to creating music straight from the soul.
