Coffee House Sessions is a music platform, launched in September 2013 with Huw Stephens from Radio 1, allowing you to see the very best breaking acts performing live for free in intimate venues. Here at Student Central (formerly ULU) you will be able to see the next big thing, all from the comfort of The Library Bar.

Each week a new act will perform fantastic music – all you have to do is turn up!

Wednesday 19th November - runway [GO] - 6pm - 7pm

runaway [GO] aren’t any regular band. Fronted by the dual vocal talents of Dave Jackson and Fiona O’Kane, the Belfast band bridge the gap between indie and pop with their anthemic pop melodies, vocal range and harmonies. The debut album from runaway [GO] ‘Alive’ is due out next year however they have chosen the very brave and creative step of releasing every song on their album, one a month for the next nine months. They have already had a taste of playing large scale venues supporting UK chart-toppers Bastille on the Irish leg of their sell out tour last October as well as playing alongside Suede and Editors.
